It’s been a long day, but I’m finally back home. Slightly unpacked, and relaxing. Aside from the little snafu with Delta “misplacing” a Pilot along with his Co-Pilot for a short time, there were no real problems. I’m not extremely pleased with the TSA unpacking souvenirs and not wrapping them back up – fortunately nothing was damaged.
Had an interesting conversation last night about how awful Hunger Games was (both the cinematic and written versions) and while browsing through the airport bookstore in Portland I ran across a copy for only $4. In over eight hours of flying, and many more in the airports, I only managed to read about forty pages – it’s just not grabbing me. So, James, Phil, you may have been right, but I’m determined to see it through.
Back on topic..
Nobody was awake when I finally rolled into the driveway, but I had this waiting on the front door:
If you look in the Websters dictionary under “Awesome”, there should be a link to this picture. 🙂 Maybe we know someone who can make that happen.
Off to watch Castle and decompress!
Pictured someone Delta corporate going, “now where did I put those pilots…?”
Also… cutest poster, evar. 🙂
You may find that some hard liquor with each page is the only way to dull the sensation enough to make it.
I loved The Hunger Games! May I suggest that the three of you are perhaps not its target audience? 😉
Late to this party, but I enjoyed The Hunger Games (the books moreso than the movie). Not that I thought they were good literature, but an easy, light-thinking thing to take in when I didn’t want to think too hard after the day’s work.
I suppose like some dramas on TV that we would never purposely plan to watch, but if we find them on one night when we want to kill an hour, we’d leave it on the channel.

Need to test something re reblogs and thought this was a perfect post 😉
